My Reaction to the Michigan Disaster

Gary Gray finally sent me over the ledge. I can't handle it anymore. It's not that I'm surprised Notre Dame lost despite dominating the first 3 quarters it's the fact that I expect them to lose now. I'm done.

  1. While I am not a Notre Dame fan, as a Dawg fan I completely understand how you feel. Both teams failed to come up with a defensive stop when one was needed. Neither is relevent on the national stage. Nor does it appear either team has what it takes to get there anytime soon. The good news: Octoberfest beer is now available!

  2. I hear ya Skeptic. Georgia still has the ability to bounce back with their schedule getting much easier for the next 4-5 weeks. Unfortunately Notre Dame has Sparty this week who will probably find a way to fake a field goal again for a winning TD. Notre Dame is just cursed. Oh well. I need a cold Octoberfest now!

I can't even watch the Notre Dame games live anymore...I'm going to be 50 this year, and I would stroke out.

Get a load of these stats though:
Its the first time they've lost 3 in a row to Michigan (our most hated rival)since 19-freakin-08!
All three of those losses? In the last 10 seconds of the game.
Oh yeah...and we now have 10 turnovers in the first 2 games.

    WTF?

  4. Michigan decided to give the game ball from Saturday night to Gary Gray. Unfortunately when they tossed it to him he couldn't locate it.

When Notre Dame returned home from Ann Arbor they could not find Gary Gray, after alerting the authorities the clean up crew at the big house found him still wandering around the end zone without a clue.

I am not one to hate on college student athletes but seriously this kid has been killing me for 5 years. Never in my 25 years on earth have I seen a worse notre dame player.

  5. Any chance that ND can hire Eric Taylor from Friday Night Lights?

  6. I feel your pain Sean but you must have never seen Marcus Wilson play tailback back in the Willingham years. It wasn't pretty.

Gray had a bad game but he is still a good player. I think he will bounce back much like Theo Riddick did this past week.
