Heisman Trophy Watch Week 4

We are now 4 weeks into the college football season so it's time to take a look at the early Heisman Trophy contenders aka September Heismans.  As we have seen in the past it's not always good to be a September Heisman.  Examples include Geno Smith or even Sam Darnold last season.  Usually the beginning of the season represents padding your stats against inferior opponents before embarking on conference games.  This all changes this week as most conference games are in effect.

1) Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama - 2018 has quickly turned into Tua's Heisman to lose.  When you are the quarterback of the #1 team you already have an advantage.  But when you have the talent, numbers, and storybook young career of Tua on full display all year in front of national eyes it makes it a lot more difficult for anyone else to catch up.  So far Tua has been damn near flawless and for the first time in a long time the Bama offense is really fun to watch.

2) Dwayne Haskins, Ohio State - After watching Haskins complete over 75% of his passes with a 16 TD-to-1 INT ratio so far this season it makes me wonder if Urban Meyer screwed up last season not starting him over JT Barrett.  This week he gets to prove to the nation he's a worthy contender with a primetime game at Penn State.

3) Will Grier, West Virginia - It seems like Grier has been playing college football as long as it took Tommy Boy to graduate.  The Florida transfer is completing 75% of his passes with a 14 TD-to-3 INT ratio in 3 games.  This week he faces top 25 Texas Tech who feature their own gunslinger in true freshman Alan Bowman.

4) Benny Snell Jr, Kentucky - The only non QB in the top 5 list is one of the most underrated players in the game.  Snell has helped lead the surging Wildcats to a 4-0 start with excellent performances vs Florida (175 yards) and Mississippi State (165 yards) in upset specials.  If Snell can help lead Kentucky to a win this week vs South Carolina he's gonna be on everybody's ballot.

5) Kyler Murray, Oklahoma - While Oklahoma struggled to win vs Army in OT last week it wasn't a Murray issue.  Murray was great completing 11-of-15 passes for 3 TDs.  For the season he's accounted for 14 TDs and the Sooners haven't skipped a beat offensively despite losing Heisman winner Baker Mayfield to the NFL.

Just missed the cut - Justin Herbert, Oregon; Jonathan Taylor, Wisconsin; Darrell Henderson, Memphis

Kelly Bryant Officially Transferring from Clemson, 5 potential transfer destinations

By now you have heard Clemson QB Kelly Bryant has decided to take advantage of the new NCAA redshirt rule in which if you play in 4 or less games you can transfer and still have a year of eligibility left.

Yesterday Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney made the obvious decision official when he named freshman QB phenom Trevor "Sunshine" Lawrence the starter this week vs Syracuse.  It signaled to Bryant he would no longer be the starter for Clemson and he went MIA from practice.  While I think Bryant is making a personal decision in his best interests as he sees it you can't help but think it could be a bad one because he's a senior who has gone 16-2 as a starter and Lawrence is an injury away from Bryant playing again.

In other words Bryant wants to go somewhere where he can start and make his case to the NFL to get drafted.  To be honest Bryant is not a pro prospect.  Lawrence clearly outplayed him so far this season and it was tough for Bryant to handle getting beat out by a true freshman.  I get that.

So where could Bryant end up next season and take advantage of the new NCAA redshirt rule?

AUBURN -  Fellow transfer Jarrett Stidham still has a year of eligibility left but he's expected to dip his toe in to NFL waters after this season.  The Tigers with Gus Malzahn run a spread offense that Bryant is familiar with and Bryant was heavily recruited by Auburn before picking Clemson.

EAST CAROLINA - My old flag football teammate Scottie Montgomery is currently the head coach at East Carolina and is looking for a QB upgrade next season.  Montgomery while an assistant coach at Duke recruited Bryant out of high school and has NFL connections as a former player.  All of this of course is contingent on Montgomery being retained next season which isn't a guarantee with his 7-20 record for the Pirates.

FLORIDA ATLANTIC - Yes the fighting Lane Kiffins with Charlie Weis Jr as the OC would be a tremendous fit for Bryant.  Weis Jr runs a pro style offense and Kiffin thinks he knows how to develop pro QBs so Boca Raton, FL would be seem like a logical destination for Bryant.

NORTH CAROLINA - Speaking of coaches on the hot seat Larry Fedora might be sitting on an even hotter one than Montgomery especially after losing to East Carolina two weeks ago.  But if Fedora does come back to Chapel Hill it makes a lot of sense for Bryant since Mitch Trubisky developed into a NFL QB there.

UCLA - I know this seems far fetched since it's on the complete opposite coast but Bryant could be a great fit for Chip Kelly's system which needs a mobile, accurate throwing QB.  Bryant could step in at UCLA and hope to develop into a NFL prospect like Marcus Mariota did at Oregon under Kelly.

The Evolution of the NFL Roughing The Passer Rule

Looks accurate to me.  Gotta hand it to the NFL they are keeping their QB jerseys clean and increasing scoring while all of us simpletons continue to watch a shitty product.

SportsCrack CFB Top 10 Week 4

1) Alabama - The Tide continued to roll last week with a cucking of Jimbo Fisher and his Aggies in Tuscaloosa 45-23.  Tua put up more Heisman Trophy numbers and will probably play a half or less this week vs the Ragin Cajuns and should pad those Heisman numbers with a October schedule that consists of Arkansas, Mizzou and the wretched Tennessee Volunteers.  If you are a betting man put all your money on Tua and the Heisman at +115.

2) Clemson -  Finally Dabo quit with the dog and pony show and named freshman Trevor Lawrence his starting QB this week (and for the rest of his college career) after he dismantled Georgia Tech 49-21 in the Flats.  Kelly Bryant is a nice QB and all but he can't spin like Lawrence.  This week Clemson continues to roll with a revenge game with Syracuse coming to town.

3) Georgia - As I said last week Georgia cruised to an easy win over Mizzou in Columbia 43-29.  Jake Fromm looked his normal stellar stuff but the run defense from the Dawgs was a bit concerning giving up over 170 yards.  They will get a chance to shore it up and make head coach Kirby Smart not fume by beating the ever living piss out of "rival" Tennessee who comes in to Athens as a 32.5 point underdog.

4) Ohio State - Urban returned to the sideline after his 3 game suspension and the Buckeyes didn't skip a beat in dismantling Tulane 49-6.  QB Dwayne Haskins continued his Heisman push by throwing for over 300 yards and 5 TDs in the first half.  This week the Buckeyes travel to Happy Valley for a "White Out" game vs Penn State.  ESPN's GameDay crew will be there so I'm sure we get to hear about Urban and his lying and blah blah blah.  It won't matter because I think the Buckeyes roll in this game.

5) Stanford - Ok I will say it because we all know it.  Stanford got extremely lucky.  They should have lost to Oregon in Eugene but the Ducks got cute instead of just taking a knee and the Trees made them pay for it by coming back and winning in overtime.  Don't look for that luck to extend into this weekend as Stanford travels to Notre Dame who should know how to take a fucking knee.

6) LSU - The Tigers were in a little bit of a fight going into the 4th quarter with Louisiana Tech but pulled away with a convincing 38-21 win.  This week they better watch out for an upset special at home as they take on Ole Miss who rebounded last week after taking that redheaded stepchild beating vs Bama the week before.

7) Oklahoma - I had to drop the Sooners a couple of spots after that lackluster performance vs Army in Norman winning 28-21 in OVERTIME.  Kyler Murray was stellar as usual.  Oklahoma gave up over 330 yards rushing to Army and needed an INT in OT to seal the game.  Maybe it was an one off game but all of a sudden the Sooners look very beatable the next two weeks vs Baylor and Texas.

8) Notre Dame - After pedestrian offensive performances the first 3 weeks of the season head coach Brian Kelly made the difficult decision to bench starter Brandon Wimbush and roll with Ian Book and it paid off with an offensive explosion in Wake Forest with a 56-27 victory.  Book threw for over 300 yards and accounted for 5 TDs vs a rather shitty Wake Forest defense and will get a true test this week as Stanford rolls into town for the first ever top 10 matchup at ND Stadium since the Bush Push game in 2005.

9) West Virginia  - The Mountaineers make their top 10 debut replacing Va Tech who inexcusably lost at home to Old Dominion.  QB Will Grier threw for 5 TDs in a convincing 35-6 win over Kansas State to move to 3-0.  This week they will get to prove their worthiness of top 10 material when they travel to Lubbock to face #25 Texas Tech.

10) Auburn - Auburn rebounded after their close loss to LSU the week before by beating Arkansas 34-3.  The Razorbacks are terrible so don't put too much stock in that final score.  Auburn has to get their offense clicking if they want to be serious SEC West contenders.  They needed special teams plays and their defense to beat Arkansas and that won't work for the long haul.

Jennifer Lopez at 49 still has her fastball

It's been almost 25 years since Jennifer Lopez made her TV debut as a slightly pudgy "In Living Color" fly girl and like wine she's been getting finer with age.  J Lo is not afraid to show off her hard work and assets to her nearly 80 million Instagram followers by blasting out these fastballs.  Alex Rodriguez may have cheated the game of baseball throughout his whole career but it got him Lopez in the end so in conclusion kids do PEDs.

Vanderbilt coach Derek Mason challenges Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly after accusations of "bad football"

Yesterday at Brian Kelly's Notre Dame press conference he was asked what he thought of Vanderbilt's "blocking" technique on ND TE Alizé Mack in the 22-17 win on Saturday.  Kelly did not mince words...

Today Vanderbilt head coach Derek Mason was asked what he thought of Kelly's accusation of "bad football" and you could say he wasn't pleased about it...

Let's take a look at one of the plays Kelly described as "bad football."

This looks pretty cut and dry.  The Vanderbilt defensive end goes straight at Mack's knees with his helmet basically tackling him.  Mack doesn't have the football and he is trying to block so clearly this is dirty football on Vanderbilt's side.  It might not be an ejectable play in the referees handbook but it should be one that draws an unsportsmanlike penalty.  You don't go spearing opponent's knees especially when the opponent lacks possession of the football.  Sorry but not sorry Mason but Kelly has a genuine gripe here.

Notre Dame has moved on with a hard fought 22-17 win and remain undefeated at 3-0.  I would recommend to Mason to keep his SEC mouth breathers comments to himself next time especially when he is clearly in the wrong.

SportsCrack CFB Top 10 Week 3

1) Alabama - At this point in the season it's really Alabama and everybody else.  The Crimson Tide have the best offense and defense in the nation.  I might be getting ahead of myself but from what I've seen so far this might be the most complete college football team since the 2001 Miami Hurricanes.  They are loaded from top to bottom and finally have a QB in Tua Tagovailoa who can throw downfield and put up 50 points in a half.

2) Clemson - The Tigers for now are still doing a two QB rotation in Kelly Bryant and freshman Trevor Lawrence but that could change this week.  Lawrence is clearly the better QB and the future.  Against Georgia Tech this week it's probably time for him to get the majority of the snaps behind center.  Clemson didn't look so hot last week with Bryant vs Georgia Southern.  The defense is still outstanding with NFL talent everywhere but if the Tigers faced Bama right now the Tide would come out double digit victors.

3) Georgia - The Bulldogs are doing everything right.  The offense is clicking with Jake Fromm starting and Justin Fields getting some rotations behind center.  The offensive line could be in some trouble if left tackle Andrew Thomas can't return quickly.  The defense is young but damn they are fast and fly to the ball.  They should cruise this week in Missouri.

4) Ohio State - Dwayne Haskins has thrown his name into early Heisman Trophy consideration with a very impressive first 3 games including last week's road win vs TCU.  Head coach Urban Meyer returns from suspension as they get a warm up game this week vs Tulane before going on the road to Happy Valley next week.

5) Oklahoma - Kyler Murray has filled in great for departed Heisman Trophy winning QB Baker Mayfield.  The Sooners have been averaging 50 points per game with Murray but their defense still has a ton of question marks and it's why I don't have them in my top 4.

6) Stanford - This might seem a little high for the Cardinal but so far they have been playing great, dominate football even without Bryce Love putting up All-American numbers so far.  Their schedule does them no favors the next two weeks as they travel to Oregon and Notre Dame for night games.

7) LSU - I admit I more than likely have LSU underrated at this point.  They got two wins vs top 10 teams in Miami and Auburn last week which nobody else in the country can say.  The offense still looks a little shaky at the QB position but with all the athletes they have they should be fine till big showdowns with UGA and Bama.

8) Notre Dame - Notre Dame is 3-0 but you wouldn't realize it by fan's reactions so far.  The Fighting Irish have yet to trail in a game and have used a dominate defense but the offense has been atrociously bad and vanilla in the 2nd half of every game this year.  They face their first road challenge this week in Wake Forest.  Win and they could be looking at an undefeated matchup with Stanford next week.

9) Virginia Tech - The Hokies game vs East Carolina was cancelled last week because of Hurricane Florence.  This week they get a warm up game in Old Dominion before traveling to Duke and getting Notre Dame at home the next two weeks.

10) Auburn - I can't drop Auburn too much after losing a heartbreaker to LSU.  They still got a top 10 win under their belt vs Washington and they still look like a legit contender in the SEC West.

Georgia Tech and Adidas reveal 1990 Throwback Jerseys for Clemson this week

BOOM!   I love these throwback jerseys by Adidas for Georgia Tech.  All of a sudden I got memories of Ken Swilling on defense punishing the undefeated Virginia Cavaliers with Herman Moore in Charlottesville.  Clutch Scott Sisson kicking the game winner as head coach Bobby Ross looked on from the sidelines.  These uniforms are perfect and at least they are not the awful Russell Athletic versions.  Now if only Tech had the 1990 team who should have won the National Championship outright that year in uniform then this game would be a true test for Clemson.

Before, during and after the game we have confirmation Georgia Tech fans will be wearing our DRINK LIKE A CHAMPION TODAY t-shirt.  Some traditions never graduate!

FSU QB Deondre Francois not happy with his offensive linemen

Apparently FSU QB Deondre Francois is not a fan of playing crash test dummies this season.  FSU is currently dead last in FBS scoring thanks to a horrific offensive line that hasn't provided any protection for Francois or opened up any holes for RB studs like Cam Akers.  The Seminoles got smoked by Syracuse 30-7 a week after their huge come from behind victory over Samford.  Currently at 1-2 the Seminoles could be looking at 3-9 or 4-8 season under first year coach Willie Taggart.  Like Francois I still have no idea why FSU hired Taggart to begin with or what their technique is to blocking.  It's gotten so bad that Francois refuses to be picked up as seen here.  FSU is a mess right now and should probably just go ahead and fire Taggart but we all know that can't happen with a huge buyout in his contract along with the messy PR/media shitstorm that would follow.

Cleveland Browns Fans are now punching themselves

After "suffering" a tie in week 1 to the Pittsburgh Steelers the Cleveland Browns managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory week 2 vs the New Orleans Saints.  The Browns kicker Zane Gonzalez managed to miss an extra point and 2 field goals in the 4th quarter to seal a 3 point loss and send some Browns fans into beating themselves up.  You have to be a special type of person to full on punch yourself but then again the psyche of a Browns fan has to be so emotionally damaged to a point where why wouldn't you hit yourself for being a Browns fan.

The point is when you think life is unfair and the breaks are all going the wrong way and you just want to give up just be thankful you aren't a Browns fan.  It could always be worse...unless you are a Browns fan.

Steve Smith Body Bags Michael Irvin on Live Thursday Night Football Air

If you think this was an act than you don't know former WR greats Steve Smith and Michael Irvin very well or their past chemistry on air.  This was straight on player hating to the finest "degree."  First Steve Smith who got his degree from Michigan State University before starting a remarkable NFL career told Irvin he got his doctorate in route running while playing for the Panthers and the Ravens while Irvin only managed to get his associates degree from community college aka University of Miami.  What I do know is that Irvin's associates degree included boats, hoes, and coke in sunny Miami and then on to the Dallas Cowboys and their cheerleaders while Smith's doctorates degree included Midwestern winters and cottage cheese.  I give Irvin the edge there.  Irvin is in the Hall of Fame because of the rings he got in Dallas but you could make an argument Smith was the better overall wide receiver in the pros.  Smith could do it all including blocking and didn't exactly play with a Hall of Fame QB like Troy Aikman.

This "playa" hating feud will only go on as these two cats will continue to fight it out on Thursday nights.  Sign me up.  Reminds me of the old Dave Chappelle's Show classic skit "The Playa Haters' Ball"....

Pure Viral Clickbait: Kendall Jenner Full Nude Photo Shoot Leaked NSFW

I know it's shocking to think but we have another Kardashian going fully nude to get some attention aka money thanks to her agent Mom setting it up.  Kendall Jenner is a model and a legit one at that having walked runways from Paris to New York and from what we know hasn't been plastically enhanced like her other famous sisters like Kim and Kylie.  No complaints here.  Anyways here are some more pictures if your thing is to enjoy seeing a woman naked on the beach riding a horse.

Things have gotten so bad in Detroit that road jersey Calvin Johnson is now fighting with home jersey Calvin Johnson for Lion's King

There's been thousands of embarrassing Detroit Lion's performances but last night's season opener 48-17 home loss to the New York Jets might take the cake as the worst ever.  Not only did Matthew Stafford (5 INTS) get completely outplayed by rookie Sam Darnold in his NFL debut but then we had a real life scuffle in the stands between two fans wearing a jersey of a player who couldn't take playing for the Lions anymore and quit the game.  I mean it's so Detroit it's not even funny.  Actually it kind of is funny just because the punches being thrown look so slow it's like watching the Lions play back in the 50's when only whites were allowed to play.

Well at least Detroit made some history last night.  This has to be the first time in recorded history to fans wearing the same player's jersey got in a fight with each other.  Next time maybe fight with some of the Jet's fans there fellas.

Was Nebraska QB Adrian Martinez's injury the result of a dirty play?

Some in Huskers Nation are not happy about Saturday's game vs Colorado and it's not entirely about head coach Scott Frost's first loss in his debut.  Freshman sensation Adrian Martinez made his collegiate debut too in Lincoln on Saturday and was having a spectacular game until he was injured late in the 33-28 loss.

Up until the injury on his right knee Martinez had rush for 117 yards and two scores while completing 15-of-20 passes for another TD and an interception.  Trying to rush to his right on a design QB run Martinez was hit and wrapped up by Colorado LB Jacob Callier.  While on the ground it appears Callier tries to twists Martinez's lower right leg while putting extra weight on it.  It was noticeable enough for Frost to question Callier's intentions during the play.

Not a good look for Colorado but still it's hard to say without a doubt Callier meant to injure Martinez.  But don't tell that to Nebraska fans.  They already have a "Wanted" graphic for Callier for malicious intent to do harm!

Gotta love college football hysterics and that call number to report Callier.  (303) POS-BUFF no doubt has been called hundreds if not thousands of times by now to some poor soul smoking a bowl in Boulder who has no idea what happened in Lincoln on Saturday.

FWIW the injury to Martinez's knee is being classified as day-to-day and it appears at this time he escaped major injury.  Frost will now have a walk-on start at QB until Martinez is ready to play.

Watch: Massive Brawl at Ole Miss Tailgate

If you don't think SEC schools take their football serious I give you this fight at the Grove from Saturday as another example of football being so serious that is can cause outright anarchy.  Ole Miss was down at half to Southern Illinois.  The Salukis should never be leading Ole Miss in football much less going into halftime.  Fans in the Grove were not taking it lying down so to speak and wanted to fight for their team amongst themselves.  Mix in some brown liquor, high temperatures, losing football, and high levels of angst and you got a boiler keg of emotions spilling out for all to see.  Golf polos and khakis shorts were seen flying everywhere.  Croakies, Ray Bans, and Sperry's scattered like limbs in Normandy.  This was Civil War part deux in Oxford and no tailgate tent was safe.  Precious feathered bangs were left rustled.

New Notre Dame vs Stanford Football Shirts called "Catholics vs Conifers"

Hard to believe we have never made a Notre Dame/Stanford rivalry t-shirt but here it is.  Catholics vs Conifers.  It comes in both #IrishWearGreen and Blue/Gold and is only available at SportsCrack.com!

Stat of the Weekend

Well there you go.  This is obvious cause for celebration in Cleveland.  For the first time since 2004 the Browns don't have a losing record after week 1.  It's all about baby Baker Mayfield steps....yes I know he didn't play but he is the eventual Browns savior.  Wink wink.

Cheerleader vs Bully Fight Caught on Camera

Gotta admit I didn't see that coming.  The prototypical bully thought she was in for an easy knockdown vs the pretty cheerleader.  Wrong.  I haven't seen a girl go down that fast since Ronda Rousey's last two fights.

Atlanta Falcons Release New "Welcome To Atlanta Falcons" Remix by Ludacris and Jermaine Dupri

Football boner achieved!  The NFL is back but more importantly the Atlanta Falcons are back in Philly trying to finish the drill and beat the Eagles like they should have done in the playoffs last year.
Yes I'm still mad about the Falcons losing that game.  Falcons should have won.  Plain and simple.  They literally let the ball slip through their hands numerous times (LOOKING at you Keanu Neal and Julio Jones) and Philly escaped with a W on their way to the first ever Super Bowl victory.

But now we are back and Atlanta boys Ludacris and Jermaine Dupri want to give us a Falcons remix of their classic "Welcome to Atlanta" song.  Don't hate it.  In fact I love it and I've been playing it non stop since yesterday when it dropped.

Prediction for tonight's game besides it being hot as hell in Philadelphia is the Falcons will finally, and I mean finally, show some consistency in the red zone for once and get touchdowns instead of ageless wonder Matt Bryant field goals.  Falcons build a huge lead only to hang on for dear life in the 2nd half but most importantly come out with a hard fought W.

Falcons 31
Eagles 27

Tonight the Falcons rise up to the occasion and provide a stepping stone to winning their first ever Lombardi Trophy.

Nike's New TV Ad Will Be Controversial Tonight, Here it is

This is controversy central right here with Nike's new advertisement with the NFL kicking off tonight in primetime when the Atlanta Falcons visit the defending Super Bowl Champs Philadelphia Eagles.

First off we all know you can't show anybody smoking.  Smoking is bad for your health kids.  The fact that Nike created this ad with a go-getter like Jay Cutler smoking a fag is just lighting a flame to what is right and wrong in this world.  It's not PC to smoke fags.  Period.  No flaming fags are allowed in 2018.

Second we do care Nike.  Cutler is a hero to all the people who sleep in past noon.  He's a legend to everyone who has always wanted to put in the bare minimum effort and still get paid hundreds of millions to not win playoff games.  He's our hero and so yes we care.  Or we don't.

Third here is the actual Nike commercial with that real life puppet Colin Kaepernick telling all of us he sacrificed everything to not be a third string QB anymore and collect millions because he was too lazy to stand for the national anthem.  He's a real life hero I tell you.

And yes Kaepernick is a hero to a lot of us.  He doesn't have a job and is still getting paid millions by Nike to not play in the NFL and kneel during the national anthem.  He can thank Donald Trump for the historic low unemployment numbers for third string QBs.

SportsCrack's Top 10 College Football Teams After Week 1

1) Alabama - I don't even really need to explain this one.  The defending champs waxed the shit out of Louisville in Dallas and with Tua now playing QB their offense should be nearly unstoppable.

2) Clemson - Much the same with Alabama it's time for Clemson to just give the QB keys to freshman sensation Trevor Lawrence and forget about Kelly Bryant.  Clemson on paper is the only team that can match up with Bama at this point in the season.

3) Georgia - The Bulldogs got their warmup game for South Carolina this week out of the way with no injuries and although freshman QB Justin Fields looked great there is no good reason to let him start over Jake Fromm....yet.

4) Notre Dame - Even I was a little surprised how dominant ND looked vs Michigan Saturday night.  The Fighting Irish defense was outstanding all game and QB Brandon Wimbush played spectacular vs a great Michigan defense.

5) Auburn - The Tigers beat a really good Washington Huskies team to end their two game Mercedes Benz Stadium streak.  Auburn's defense looks like a legit SEC type defense with playmakers and speed everywhere.

6) Ohio State - Even without Urban Meyer on the sidelines the Buckeyes beat the ever living shit out of Oregon State at the Horse Shoe.  I expect more the same with the Buckeyes who are clearly carrying a chip on their shoulder because of the media's fascination with wife beating losers.

7) Oklahoma - The Kyler Murray era started off with a bang with a thorough beat down of the Fighting Lane Kiffins by nearly 50 points.  This week they get the Fighting Chip Kelly's.

8) Virginia Tech - 46 of the 57 players who dressed for the Hokies in their road opener vs FSU are underclassmen.  That's insane.  And they beat the shit out of FSU from the opening snap and made the Willie Taggart hire look like...well...shit so far.

9) Wisconsin - The Badgers dominated a decent Western Kentucky team as their Heisman favorite Jonathan Taylor nearly rushed for 200 yards.  They get another warm up game this weekend with New Mexico.  The Badgers don't deserve top 5 votes till they actually schedule a decent out of conference opponent.

10) LSU - I'll probably regret this position soon but there is no denying LSU deserves credit for the beat down they gave on Miami Sunday night.  I mean that was just a good old fashion and I picked Miami to win the game.
