Michigan Stunner

Can't.  Stop.  Laughing.

Poor Michigan.  You finally got the coach everybody wanted in Jim Harbaugh.  You finally were going to beat your big brother Sparty and vault back into the top 8 in the rankings.  The college football world was again going to be your oyster.  And then it all went to shit thanks to an incompetent punter and improbable return.

Ann Arbor is on suicide watch.  Prayers sent.

This Notre Dame Football Primer Video vs USC Will Get Your Juices Flowing

Give them hell Irish.  Give them hell.

Notre Dame's season and future rides heavily on this game.  With more than 40 recruits in town and USC floundering with an interim head coach it's time for ND to stomp the shit out of the Trojans.  ND owes them big time for last season when a defeated and dejected Everett Golson did his best nose dive and sent the Trojans to a brutal blowout.

The season rides on this game.  If ND wins they will go on to win out and make the playoffs.  If they lose though I got a feeling this team will tank and they will be looking at another 8-4 season.

PREDICTION: ND 37 USC 24

Stanford WR Francis Owusu With The College Football Play of the Year

A decade ago before he shattered his leg and is now flipping burgers at McDonalds Alabama WR Tyrone Prothro made a similar catch.  Just a wild guess but I think Stanford WR Francis Owusu will go on to do bigger and better things after this catch then Mr. Prothro.

Hands down this is the college football play of the year.  Double reverse, QB throw while the receiver is getting mugged catch behind the back.  Don't look now but Stanford is now a legitimate playoff contender coming off a humiliating open season loss to Northwestern.  They ran all over UCLA and essentially eliminated Mora and his baby blue crew from any significant bowl game this season.

The Braves Show Off Their New Development: The Battery

The Atlanta Braves announced today that their new mixed use development surrounding the new Suntrust Park will be called "The Battery." It looks awesome with everything you could possible need surrounding the ballpark. The only thing missing was parking. They might want to think about how people are going to park their cars considering there is no public transportation to the area except for poor people buses. And we all know the people who go to Braves games don't ride the bus. Oh yeah and you might want to start signing some free agents THIS OFFSEASON because the 2017 class is barren with impact bats and arms. Other than that it looks great. Kudos to the Braves for giving the fans something they can be proud of and comfortable with.

4-Star DE Khalid Kareem Decommits From Alabama, Will Visit Notre Dame This Weekend

Notre Dame has received some great recruiting news this week and it comes from a couple of highly sought after defensive players deflecting from their verbal commitments.

On Monday it started off with 5-star linebacker Daelin Hayes officially cutting ties with the sinking ship over at USC.  Hayes will visit ND this weekend for the USC game and appears to be a heavy lean at this moment for the Irish.

Today 4-star defensive end Khalid Kareem decommitted from Alabama via his Twitter account and will also take an official visit to ND this weekend.

Notre Dame will be hosting at least 20 of the top prospects in the nation for their primetime game vs USC.  To say this game is important not only for this season but the future ahead is a massive understatement.  Notre Dame and the coaching staff not only will have to put on a show on NBC Saturday night but they also have to be able to close on Hayes and Kareem, who are both instant impact recruits at positions that ND has had trouble recruiting in the past.

Bovada Releases Odds for USC Head Coaching Job

Now that Cutty Sark has been fired for yet another shitfaced appearance at a team function (this time it was Sunday practice) Bovada.com has released their odds for his replacement.  With USC off the Reggie Bush sanctions, a full 85 scholarships available, this should be a highly sought after job for a blue blood program full of 5 star talent.

Let's take a look at Bovada's odds for Sarkisian's replacement.  Remember Cutty Sark was making $4.5 million per year.  Money will not be an issue in their search.

Kyle Whittingham +350 - The current Utah Utes coach has been at his job for over a decade now since replacing Urban Meyer.  He's compiled a 90-43 including a stellar 8-1 bowl record which included an undefeated 2008 season with an impressive win over Nick Saban and Alabama.  He's a drama free coach.  In other words he's not going to be downing bottles of Patron and hitting on the booster's daughters.

Chip Kelly +600 - If I'm USC I back up the Brinks truck full of Beats by Dre money and give Chip an offer he can't refuse.  Kelly would destroy the Pac 12 with the roster USC already has but he does have some Oregon NCAA regulation issues hanging over his head.  Chip should be the first and only choice for AD Pat Haden.

Brian Harsin +600 - The Boise State head coach is one of the top under 40 guys in the college football landscape.  He seems like a great fit in Boise and I'm not sure how he would fit in culturally with USC and all the bright lights of Hollywood.  Harsin went 12-2 including a Fiesta Bowl victory in his only season at Boise State after replacing Chris Peterson.

Tom Herman +700 - The current Houston Cougars head coach is in his first season after an impressive assistant coaching resume which included a Broyles Award, given annually to the nation's top assistant coach for his work last season with Ohio State.  Herman has a tremendous offensive mind and is the best underdog pick here.

Justin Fuente +700 - The Memphis Tigers head coach is another young, up and coming coach who has led his team to an undefeated season so far.  He's got more experience than Herman and Harsin but his overall record isn't as superlative only because of Memphis's lack of facilities and tradition.

Clay Helton +800 - He's currently the interim head coach as well as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at USC.  He did coach USC to a bowl game victory in 2013 but I don't think he's a serious candidate for Haden who should be moving away from the Sark-Kiffin-Carroll coaching tree.

Jack Del Rio +800 - The Oakland Raiders head coach is an USC alum but he's got no college coaching experience.  I would put his odds of getting the job at about 2%.  Del Rio is a NFL guy for a reason.

Chris Peterson +900 - 0.0% chance he leaves Washington right now for USC.  He's not a culture fit and he's already declined the job in the past.

Brian Kelly +900 - 0.0% chance here too with Brian Kelly.  If Kelly goes anywhere it's the NFL for a head coaching job.

Kevin Sumlin +1100 - Sumlin would be a tremendous hire but I think he's very comfortable at College Station.

Gary Patterson +1100 - It seems like every year his name is brought up and for good reason, he's a helluva coach.  But I don't think he's an USC fit.  He seems to be a TCU lifer and he wasn't interested in the Texas job when it was open.

Mark Dantonio +1500 - The only place I could see him going is back to his alma mater in South Carolina now that Head Ball Coach is retired.  Dantonio makes top 3 head coaching money and in East Lansing he's basically a God.

Dabo Swinney Goes on Epic Media Rant When Asked About "Clemsoning"

As much as I think Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney is a clown in a lot of ways (his vocabulary and dance skills) I gotta respect his rant on the media here.  His nerves are rustled about being asked year in and year out about "Clemsoning" that he was bound to eventually burst out especially after back-to-back impressive wins at home vs Notre Dame and Georgia Tech.  Someone in the media needs to remind Dabo that "Clemsoning" is not an adjective.  It's a verb.  Then we can see his purple and orange head burst.

By the way you know this outburst was 100% inspired by Nick Saban.  Swinney is such a wanna-be Saban that you know he had this tirade written down and prepared for when the first media member dare asked him about Clemsoning.  He finally got to use his Nick Saban media disrespect card.  Bravo Dabo.  Bravo.

Keegan-Michael Key from "Key & Peele" Does A Spot On Impersonation of Penn State's James Franklin

No lie I was completely confused in the first 30 seconds of this video.  I could not tell who was Key and who was the real James Franklin.  But thankfully I was not as confused as an 8-year-old boy in Jerry Sandusky's basement.  Too soon?  Nah fuck Penn State.

Jake Arrieta Celebrates Another Dominating Performance With A Drink From His Son

After pitching a complete game shutout while not even having his best stuff Chicago Cubs ace Jake Arrieta celebrated with his son who poured some bubbly down his Wild Card Champs throat.

Rock on Jake.  You deserve it.  The Cubs advance to face their hated division rival in the St. Louis Cardinals.  I got a feeling Arrieta will be celebrating some more during the NLDS.

Maryland Plans To Fire Randy Edsall This Weekend

With Maryland's football season going down the shitter it's no surprise that the athletic department has decided to part ways with head coach Randy Edsall according to FootballScoop.com.

Maryland plans to fire Randy Edsall as head coach, according to a report from InsideMDSports. The sites states the firing is expected to occur after the Terrapins’ trip to Ohio State this Saturday.
The site lists offensive coordinator Mike Locksley as a leading candidate to serve as interim head coach.
The Terps are off to a 2-3 start this season, with wins over FCS Richmond and South Florida, who is still looking for its first win over an FBS opponent, with blowout losses to Bowling Green (48-27), West Virginia (45-6) at Michigan (28-0) this past weekend. “Barring an unexpected last-minute reversal,” the report reads, “Maryland will part ways with Edsall when the floundering Terps enter their mid-season bye week.”
Maryland is off next weekend before hosting Penn State on Oct. 24.

Maryland's biggest mistake was firing Ralph Friedgen after the 2010 season.  The Terps were coming off a 9-4 season which if you look at their football history is a high mark.  And if you are going to fire an alum in Friedgen you better replace him with a home run hire and Edsall was far from it.  Firing him now is definitely the right move.   The guy is a terrible head coach.

If Maryland football ever wants to compete like their basketball program they need to dish out the money for a proven head coach.  Chip Kelly is a pipe dream but I would think Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank could have some major influence ($$$) for his alma mater.

Bryce Harper and Jonathan Papelbon Show Their Natitudes By Getting Into Dugout Fight

It was just a matter of time before things boiled over for the 2015 Preseason World Series Champs. Displaying their "Natitude" teammates Bryce Harper and Jonathan Papelbon got into a heated argument and then fight after Papelbon bitched about Harper not running hard to first base on a lazy fly ball to left field. It's not uncommon to see a star player dog it to first on a routine out but it's definitely not the norm for the "closer" to challenge the star player on his hustle. Papelbon rubbed a bunch of his teammates wrong last week when he plunked Manny Machado near his head after Machado went yard earlier in the game. Harper was one of the more vocal teammates to say he would be the target for retaliation for a brush back because of Papelbon being an idiot. Clearly the Washington Nationals are a giant clusterfuck this season. They were picked by everybody to win the NL East. They won't even make the playoffs. Manager Matt Williams is dead man walking and he even let Papelbon pitch after getting in the fight yesterday claiming he "didn't see it." Harper is the 22-year-old superstar who has played like a MVP this year but tends to rub some people the wrong way by his brashness. If the Nats are smart they can Williams today and release Papelbon. While Harper may not hustle all the time it's still no excuse for a teammate to go after your throat in the dugout. You handle that shit behind closed doors. Now it's up to the Nationals management to clean up the mess.

Auburn Super Fan Tammy Goes On Epic Rant on The Paul Finebaum Show

I got no words.  And you wonder why I roll my eyes every time I hear one of these SEC mouth breathers talk about winning "championships."  Tammy loves her Auburn Tigers no doubt but her Cam Newton blow up doll took a lashing Saturday night.

Malik Zaire Crying in the Locker Room Got Me All Cutting Onions

I'm not going to sit here and pretend I didn't start getting a little emotional after watching this.  Losing your star QB in Malik Zaire to a broken ankle is heart wrenching.  Not just for the team but mostly for the player.  Zaire is the unquestioned leader of the offense and perhaps the whole team.  He puts his heart on his sleeve so to speak.  He wants to be there for his brothers and now he can't go to war with them every Saturday.  It sucks.  These past two seasons I've never seen a more snakebitten team in terms of injuries than Notre Dame.  They have already lost 5 starters for the season and it's only two games in.  That's 25% of their starters and they don't get a big break in the schedule like all the SEC out of conference games and Ohio State Big Ten schedule.  They play a legit as fuck Georgia Tech team this week followed by Clemson in two weeks and USC.

But there is only one thing Notre Dame can do to get over these massive injury casualties.  WIN.  And keep winning for guys like Zaire, Folston, Smythe, Jones, and Crawford who can't be on the field with them but are fighting for their guys on the sidelines.  Just keep on winning.

Go Irish!

South Park on DeflateGate

Well that about sums up DeflateGate perfectly.  Someone broke a bull shit rule.  Or did they?

I'm so confused I'm just going to take a nap and pretend it never happened.

No Big Deal Just Donald Trump Throwing Out Free "Make America Great Again" Hats, Buy One Here

The Donald is right about one thing.  These hats are the hottest thing out there.

But I don't know if he's just being a constant salesperson or joking or lying but you can get these hats right now.

In fact you can buy the RED MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN HAT right here.

You can buy the original WHITE MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN HAT right here.

And in fact you can buy the NAVY MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN HAT right here.

SPORTSCRACK TOP 10 WEEK 2

10. FSU - For the first half there FSU fans thought they got Notre Dame's sloppy seconds as Everett Golson was struggling vs South Florida.  Golson was lights out in the 2nd half and FSU escaped the upset bid at home.  They got a tough road game at BC this week.

9. Ole Miss -  Two straight 70 plus performances vs Sisters of the Poor will get you hyped up.  Now comes the real test.  Ole Miss opens up SEC play with Bama in Tuscaloosa.  Bama owes them one for last season but the Rebels aren't afraid to compete.

8. TCU - The Horned Frogs got the offense rolling with 70 last week and face another shithole program in SMU this week.  It must be nice to play warm up games this time of the year.

7. UCLA - Credit goes to the Bruins for playing BYU this week.  Prayers to their nuts though.

6. Georgia Tech - GT comes rolling into Notre Dame this week riding a triple option offense that has been nearly unstoppable for 9 games now.  The Yellow Jackets are in unfamiliar territory being the road favorite to a team ranked ahead of them.  Maybe they can figure out an equation to solve this problem.

5. Alabama - Huge game vs Ole Miss this week.  It's a revenge game for the Crimson Tide since Bo Wallace and the Rebels beat them last year in Oxford.  This year in Tuscaloosa expect Saban to come firing out.

4. Texas A&M - Did you know the Aggies only have 3 road games?  How is that even possible?  Those lucky fuckers get Nevada this week at home.  It should be another blowout.

3. Notre Dame - Well what can you say about the Fighting Irish other than they are surviving the game of attrition right now.  Losing starters in QB Malik Zaire and TE Durham Smythe would be debilitating for most programs but they won a hard fought road game in Virginia.  The true test comes this week vs Georgia Tech.  They are going to need to burn all the boats with the next man in philosophy.

2. Baylor - Yes they beat up Lamar.  The school that is.  Not this guy from Revenge Of The Nerds.  Fortunately for the Bears after the hard fought win they get to take a week off to prepare for the juggernaut that is Rice.  That's not gay at all.

1.  Ohio State - The Buckeyes continued their cupcake schedule with a 38-0 win vs Hawaii.  While they didn't cover the 42 point spread nor did they run the ball efficiently they still won by 5 touchdowns and a field goal.

Trick Shot Monday: Georgia Tech Week includes an actual Heisman Trophy

You think the ND boys are letting the devastating news of Malik Zaire's broken ankle get them down?

Absolutely not.

This week's Trick Shot Monday includes Johnny Lattner's Heisman Trophy.  It not only got wet but it completed the dream shot from senior captain Joe Schmidt.  Way to go Schmidt.  Now go out and beat Georgia Tech!

College Football Picks This Weekend

Marshall -3 - Just gotta keep rolling with the Thundering Herd.  All they do is beat spreads.  With that being said since I'm throwing $$$ on them they probably get their dicks stomped in.  So beware but still bet the house on them.

Oklahoma -2 - This is rather simple.  The Sooners are the better football team.  If Tennessee was in  any other conference but the SEC this spread would be double digits.  And no it doesn't matter that it's in Neyland.  The Vols still suck.

Oregon St +14.5 - Only taking this game because Michigan is just so awful covering spreads especially in the Big House.  I think Michigan wins but it will be within two TDs.  That half point hook is huge.

Temple +7 -  Don't laugh at Penn State just because they got their asses kicked last week to Temple.  Temple is the real deal.  They are a sneaky good team and their defense is legit.  They will beat up on Gunner Kiel.

South Florida +28 - The Everett Golson effect.  He had no turnovers last week which means he's due for 7-8 this game.  FSU will win but it will be within 20.

Iowa St +3 - I'm only taking the Cyclones because they are home dogs and literally everything has gone wrong with the Hawkeyes the past two weeks.

Notre Dame -13 - ND should win easily.  42-13 type game.  I'm not even going to explain.

Georgia Tech -29.5 - Tech will win by 40 points easily vs Tulane.  All they gotta do is run the ball 60 times and it won't be within 6 TD.s.

Herschel Walker Calls Nick Chubb A "Throwback"

If "throwback" means badass then yes, Herschel Walker, Nick Chubb is indeed one of those.

Chubb also is getting way too much tread on his tires.  With a game versus the imploding Vanderbilt Commodores it would be wise for Mark Richt and Georgia to limit Chubb's carries so he can be ready to go 30 plus a game vs Bama.

But what do I know?  Richt has produced way more National Championship game appearances at UGA then I ever will.

Oh wait, nevermind.

Brian Kelly With the Ultimate Boss Saying on A Season With Notre Dame Football

It doesn't get any more Alpha Male than Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly stating his football team "we're gonna beat Texas' ass!" on the season premiere of his new Showtime show "A Season With Notre Dame Football."

And not only did he say it but he went out and kicked and stomped Bevo right in their burnt orange manbags 38-3.  Just straight up kicked Texas ass like he said they would.

Move over Donald Trump.  Take a seat Bill Belichick.  There is a new boss in America.

Brian Fucking Kelly.

Trick Shot Monday: Virginia Week

On and most certainly off the field Notre Dame is not the same without linebacker Joe Schmidt cutting it up in front of his teammates. Well done Schmidty. Well done.

Irish Connection Video: Behind The Scenes Of Notre Dame's 38-3 Victory over Texas

"Next Man In" is a great team slogan and it's going to be needed all season if the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are going to make a run for the playoffs. They have already lost 3 starters (DL Jarron Jones, nickel back Shaun Crawford and now tailback Tarean Folston) to season ending knee injuries. This is where depth and preparation becomes keys to having a successful season. Freshman RB Josh Adams stepped up and played brilliantly vs Texas. Freshman DT Jerry Tillery had a sack vs Texas. You gotta have guys step up and be the "next man in" because make no mistake in 11 days when they face Georgia Tech they are going to need all 80 plus scholarship players in order to beat the Yellow Jackets and their vaunted Triple Option offense.

Mississippi State Super Fan Sting Ray Has a Message for LSU

Well if you ever wondered what a real life Peter Griffin would look like I present you with Mississippi State super fan "Sting Ray."  When he's not calling into The Paul Finebaum Show (HEY PAWL!!!!) he's putting extra mayonnaise on his Subway footlong.

No joke his little cowbell shrine scares the shit out of me.  This guy has probably skinned stray cats as a sacrifice for the LSU game.  Thank baby Jesus ND doesn't play Miss St or he would probably catch my Irish ass and use my skin as a raincoat while rubbing himself off to Metallica's For Whom the Bell Tolls.

I'm not saying "Sting Ray" is a psychopath but I'm not going to act like he isn't the love child of Jerry Sandusky and Jared Fogle.

SPORTSCRACK TOP 10 WEEK 1

10 Boise St - Struggled a bit with Washington and their former coach but this team is the one non power 5 conference with a chance to make the playoffs.
9 TCU - I'm already starting to get on the overrated bandwagon with the Horned Frogs. They didn't play well on the road at Minnesota but still won the game.
8 UCLA - Freshman QB Josh Rosen looked incredible in his first start vs UVA. They gotta be the early favorites to win the PAC 12.
7 Georgia Tech - Granted they played a dogshit team but does anybody see a team that can stop their triple option with Justin Thomas at QB? It's unstoppable. I fully expect them to run all over my Irish in 12 days.
6 Auburn - Jeremy Johnson looked terrible. The whole team played awful in the 2nd half vs Louisville. But they won and that's all that matters. They will get better as the season goes on.
5 Alabama - Bama destroyed Wisconsin which wasn't shocking. But they are so damn consistent and they know what they have to do to reach the playoffs.
4 Texas A&M - Honestly I thought Arizona State was going to blow them out but of course Vegas knows what they are talking about. The Aggies throttled a good Sun Devils team. Right now in the all too early top 10 the Aggies are the best team in the SEC and OMG Myles Garrett is a fucking beast.
3 Baylor - I've been saying it all offseason. Art Briles will get this Baylor team to the playoffs.
2 Notre Dame - The Fighting Irish fucking destroyed Texas 38-3 and dominated in all facets of the game. Malik Zaire looks like the real deal having won his first two starts vs LSU and now Texas. The win didn't come without a huge loss though as starting tailback Tarean Folston is done with a ACL tear.
1 Ohio St - The Buckeyes now have 3 Heisman candidates. Whoever starts at QB, Zeke Elliott and now Braxton Miller. Their schedule is a fucking joke till they play Michigan State in November. It would take a major fuck up for this team to lose before the playoffs.

Braxton Miller Pulls A Circle Button Video Game Move on Virginia Tech

I guess if you had any doubts about whether Braxton Miller could make the transition from QB to WR this ridiculous move erased those.  Braxton aka The X Factor pulled off an insane circle button move on the hapless Hokies defense last night that left some knees buckled and shoelaces untied.

Thanks to Braxton I lost my one bet of the weekend after going perfect from Thursday-Saturday.  For some reason I listened to Twitter nation and took the Hokies as 14.5 underdogs when I felt in my heart the Buckeyes would blow them out because of the revenge game factor.  First half the Twitter world was correct as Va Tech went into half up 17-14.  But as soon as the Buckeyes got their footing and knocked out QB Corey Brewer it was over.

Video of Tom Brady and Patriots Reacting to DeflateGate Suspension Overturned

The New England Patriots and Tom Brady just skull fucked the NFL and their commissioner Roger Goodell.  Just flat out took the DeflateGate suspension and told them to go fuck themselves.

Honestly I always thought the suspension was dumb.  I mean the whole time we are talking about football PSI.  Who gives a fuck?  The Patriots won the Super Bowl fair and square and now it just seems like everyone outside of Massholes wants to find a way they cheated to achieve their dynasty.  Newsflash the Patriots are just better.  Get over it.

ND QB Malik Zaire Talks About Being Consistent As The Key To A Successful 2015 Season

In other words don't turn the ball over like Everett Golson did 20 plus times last season.  If Malik Zaire can hit 60% of his passes or more while limiting his combined turnovers to single digits Notre Dame will make the playoffs.  Notre Dame has way too much talent and depth not to get through their schedule with one loss or less during the regular season.  Plus their offensive line is arguably the best in the nation while the defense returns plenty of starters including All-American candidates in Sheldon Day, Jaylon Smith, KeiVarae Russell and Max Redfield at all three levels of the defense.

P.S. - Is Jac Collingsworth the adopted son of KD Lang or the long lost love child of the Goo Goo Dolls lead singer?   I still haven't figured it out.  The kid does an excellent job with the interviews I must say though.

Notre Dame 2015 Shamrock Series Uniform and Helmet Revealed, Pre Order the Helmets Here

The annual tradition of Shamrock Series uniforms was revealed today at Notre Dame and with the game being in Fenway Park it was no surprise that green was the dominate color.  The helmet features the Fighting Irish leprechaun head on both sides of the gold helmet.  The facemask is two colored with the right side navy and the left side green.  The piping on the jersey looks sharp with navy and gold.  Overall I would rate it a solid B.  Not as good as the 2013 uniform which I still believe is by far the best but I think it still looks better than last years version.

As always we will have the helmets, both authentic versions and mini helmets, for sale in the near future.  If you want to pre order the helmet CLICK ON THIS LINK

Notre Dame's Jaylon Smith & Ronnie Stanley are Featured on Sports Illustrated's College Football Preview Magazine

Well there you have it.  Why even play the games when Sports Illustrated already has you predicted to make the playoffs along with Ohio State, TCU and Auburn.  All Notre Dame has to do is show up and kick some ass against one of the nation's toughest schedules.  We all know 12-0 is going to happen for ND and I could see both Ohio State and Auburn in the playoffs too but I got Baylor beating TCU and securing the other spot.

But first the Irish gotta do one thing and one thing only: BEAT TEXAS!

And don't forget the Irish Shuffle shirt...

Giselle Bundchen Reminds Us Why We Should Not Feel Bad For Tom Brady and DeflateGate

Yeah he may be suspended 4 games for his deflated balls but he still has 4 SuperBowl Rings, a supermodel wife who makes twice as much as he does, and some adorable kids.  I think Tom Brady will survive this whole DeflateGate fiasco just fine.

Incoming Alabama Freshman QB Blake Barnett Casually Throws a 70 Yard Pass Through the Uprights

You may remember Blake Barnett from last year.  He was the #1 dual purpose QB who verbally committed to Notre Dame before flipping to Alabama.  Well Barnett has apparently been working with QB guru George Whitfield (yes the same guy who worked with Everett Golson during his academic suspension) and his arm strength is NOT going to be an issue when he gets to Tuscaloosa.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish Fans New T Shirt: Beat Texas Shirt ...Bevo It's What's For Dinner #IrishForever

College Football season is creeping up fast.  September 5th will be here before you know it.

ESPN Top 10 Preseason College Football Power Index is Hilarious

Well I needed a good laugh today but holy shit ESPN let's lay off the lemon Quaaludes before you go all Jordan Belfort on us and forget the lube.

Yes I know this is 100% an ESPN troll.  And yes I know I fucking fell for it again.  Congrats ESPN, you know how to rile me up.  And it really doesn't mean anything but still it gets my blood boiling.  It's like seeing your ex-girlfriend making out with a midget.  Sure it's funny and all but still it irritates and disgusts you.

I can deal with the first 4.  No doubt Ohio State, Alabama, Baylor and TCU are all serious contenders.

But then we get to 5 and ESPN decides to bring out the big ole SEC floppy and shove it down our throats without even having the courtesy to ask us for a fluffer.  LSU, Georgia, and Ole Miss have shitshows at the QB position.  For as good as a conference the SEC is they know how to produce garbage QBs.  Oregon and Texas A&M have awful defenses.  Ole Miss and Arkansas I actually kind of respect because I think both could have good seasons but you can't put them top 10 preseason.  Seriously when was the last time those two had any chance of winning a championship?

USC, Georgia Tech, FSU, ND, Michigan State, Oklahoma, UCLA, Wisconsin, and host of other programs can make a strong argument for being in the top 10 but I guess since they don't play in the SEC we won't mention them.  It's all perfectly logical.

Tom Brady Has 4 Things to say to all the Haters

2015 College Football Hype Video

I can not fucking wait.  Football season needs to get here now.

My early playoff prediction is Ohio State, FSU, Notre Dame and Auburn.

Mets Fan Busts Ass

Whenever I feel shitty about baseball I can always fall back and thank the Lord I'm not a Mets fan.  They can't even sit down properly without embarrassing themselves.  They probably need a Phillies fan to help tie their shoes and a Braves fan to help wipe their ass before leaving the house.

Bills Safety Duke Williams Called Out By Porn Star Mia Khalifa for Direct Messages

Until now I've never heard of the name Duke Williams.  Apparently Williams is a safety for the Buffalo Bills and enjoys hitting on porn stars on Twitter.

Mia Khalifa (I've done some extensive "research" on her and can confirm she is an active porn actress) apparently does NOT enjoy the attention or advances coming her way from a professional football player.  We all know porn stars hate being in the spotlight for sexual advances.  What do they think that's part of their job or something?

Hopefully Williams learned his lesson to not be sexist and instead will try to have sex with people who don't get paid for it.  Or maybe just focus on cleat chasers who won't blow their cover.

In the meantime here are some photos of Mia since I know Google these days is hard to find...

FSU QB De'Andre Johnson Caught on Camera Punching a Female

If Ray Rice has taught us anything it's this: if you are going to punch a female don't be caught on camera.  Apparently FSU QB De'Andre Johnson did not get the memo.  It takes a special kind of person to just throw a haymaker at a chick in the bar.  A "CRIMINOLE" one could say.

Johnson will no doubt face deep repercussions by head coach Jimbo Fisher.  If we learned anything from the Jameis Winston FSU saga it's that their program and police department don't take kindly to people who break the law.  If anything Johnson will probably get a slap on the wrist, a very heavy handed white glove slap and a couple of tomahawks for his helmet for connecting a fist to a girl's face.  He might even do a timeout in the corner.

Yeah that will teach him.  Lesson learned for De'Andre.

In all seriousness I would never, ever punch a lady.  But even after watching this video I think not much is going to happen to Johnson.  Technically she punched him first.  Yes he is a dick for punching her back but women can't expect to throw a punch without someone reacting back.  I wouldn't necessarily call it self defense for Johnson but if the roles were reversed she wouldn't be facing any charges.  Also thank God she wasn't wearing a "Dukes of Hazzard" shirt because she might have been burnt at the stake by Bubba Watson.

I think Bill Burr summarizes the no "reason" to ever hit a woman...

Rory McIlroy Ruptures Tendon, Called "A Leprechaun" by Fox News

Good lord lady.  Will you calm the fuck down?  You can't stand Rory McIlroy because you think he is a Leprechaun?

I know what's going on here.  She's clearly all pissed off because Rory left one of those snack size Lucky Charms on her night stand.  I've seen it a million times.  Still doesn't make him a leprechaun.  They only exist in Mobile, AL.
