PHUCKING PHANTASTIC 2008 WORLD CHAMPS SHIRTS IN PHILLY
My old college buddies, Rivells and Edwards, managed to get their cheesesteak loving asses out to Citizen Bank Park for Opening Night against the Bravos a couple of weeks ago. I won't mention who won the game because we all know. Any who the guys mentioned the shirts were a hit in Philly. Big hits. Rock star hits. In fact these two were pretty much groped the whole night for pictures and numbers from girls wanted to get a piece. It's the power of the Sportscrack Tee. It's irresistible. So grab one Philly fans. this has nothing to do with that terrible shirt, but it has to do with baseball.
first of all, i love it when a guy slides into first. if i was a baseball player, i would promise to slide into first on every single. even if i was walked, or hit with a pitch, i would slide into first. i promise.
second: i think jordan schafer needs to start doing steroids again, or whatever got him suspended. bumps off the bench, body shots off of chipper, hot-boxing in bobby's office. whatever it takes. do it jordan.
Yo boy Schafer needed the roids. The kid is a bean pole but he sure as hell can play.
I'm not a fan of the sliding into first but I am a fan of the hustling to first base even on routine groundballs. Nothing makes me more mad than seeing some guy lolly gag it down to first because they are lazy. Hell, I run to my fridge just knowing there are beers in there. If I knew a little hustle would help my team win then I would bust my ass down to first.
