Blake Griffin's First Half Dunks

Blake Griffin is the most exciting player to watch since Lebron James made his debut straight out of high school. I would argue Griffin is bringing back nonchalant fans like myself who haven't really paid too much attention to the NBA since some guy named Michael Jordan was winning rings in Chicago. The video above is from Deadspin and it chronicles every single one of his 140 dunks so far in the NBA.

Oh by the way the rumor is for tomorrow's slam dunk contest in Los Angeles Griffin will be jumping over...get this...a Bentley. With a major celebrity of some sort throwing the pass from inside the car and out the sunroof. If this happens it will be the greatest YouTube dunk in the history of YouTube dunks.

That was one of the most creative dunk contest in recent memory. Every dunker had a winning type of dunk. Get real! The NBA puts on the best show of all the major league sports. And you should see all the other great things of the weekend, the support for local kids and the charitable efforts of the league across the host city. The players have helped build houses and parks in the past.

Griffin's dunk was not impressive at all. Its not like he jumped from free throw line and went over the hood of the car. He is a great athlete but the dunk was just so and that's why they had the choir and everything else before he did it. Now the video of the guy dunking over the top of the car was way more impressive.

I thought the dunk of two basketballs on two different hoops was the most impressive. It was also very original. Also the dunk from behind the free throw line was sick. It was a great dunk contest and honestly all 4 of those guys had a legit first place dunk.
