MINKA KELLY: SEXIEST WOMAN ALIVE

According to Esquire "Parenthood" actress and Derek Jeter's soon-to-be wife Minka Kelly is the sexiest woman alive. Kelly is just another unbelievable notch in the Jeter belt. The Yankees shortstop and soon to be baseball free agent has conquered Victoria Secret's model Adriana Lima, actress Jessica Alba and Jessica Biel (probably at the same time), singer Mariah Carey, Vida Guerra, Jordana Brewster, Tyra Banks, Vanessa Minnillo, and supposedly Scarlett Johansson before "settling" for Minka Kelly. I can't hate the playa in Jeter or the game. Instead of getting married in his 20's he did what all ball players should do: play the field and don't tie yourself down. The lesson is if you are rich and famous and on the road most of the year why tie yourself down to one girl? It doesn't make sense. Good for Jeter but he's still an a-hole.

OTHER OPTIONS FOR BRAVES SECOND BASEMAN

As you already know Braves rookie second baseman Brooks "Rawdog" Conrad has had a rather rough NLDS. His three errors yesterday helped along with Jason K-Ward and Bobby Cox's over-managing to hand pivotal game three over to the San Francisco Giants. So instead of berating Conrad and calling the J-K Kid a piece of excrement and questioning Cox taking out Kimbrel when nobody has hit the kid all fucking season I would rather present to you some options for second base tonight for the Atlanta Braves.

In picture form of course.

1)A Paperbag

2)Helen Keller

3)A blind squirrel

4)Chuck Knoblauch

5)Bill Buckner

Conrad needs to sit

I understand Bobby Cox is looking to instill confidence in his players. That hasn't changed from day one and I doubt it will change on his last day, but now isn't the time to take the stand by your man mentality. Cox has said repeatedly, he will pitch to situations, he proved last night to hit to situations when he announced Glaus as a pinch hitter, only to pinch hit Hinske for Glaus which led to the should have been game tying home run. Why is he not taking the same mentality to the field? To say that the Braves don't have a capable replacement is absurd. Diory Hernandez is sitting on the bench and has been touted as one of the best gloves in the minor leagues. He's not going to do much damage offensively, but he's a lead off type hitter and he will make the plays at 2nd, SS, or 3rd.

Don't get me wrong, if Bobby plays Conrad, I will be cheering him on, just like I will the entire team. Tonight is make or break. Bobby has been at the helm and has a lot more knowledge of the game than anyone writing for this blog, but you would think after 3 errors last night and 4 errors, one in each of the last regular season games. I'm with the team in saying the Braves simply wouldn't be in the game without Conrad to this point, but they wouldn't have been here without Glaus who has been benched in favor of Derrek Lee and rookie Freddie Freeman throughout the end of the season. Tonight, Glaus needs to play 3rd or Hernandez needs to play 2nd. Something has to give. If it doesn't, we may be witnessing the end of Bobby Cox's illustrious career and saying a premature goodbye to a true legend.

Regardless of who plays, let's all at least turn on TBS today to support our team. Go BRAVES!!!

COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEK 6 PREDICTIONS

I just felt like posting Jenn Sterger's store boughts because I'm still fascinated by the Brett Favre desperation pass at her.

South Carolina vs. Alabama(-7.5)
Alabama gets another tough SEC game this week. Two weeks ago they survived against Arkansas. Last week they absolutely beat the shit out of Florida. This week they will own South Carolina. The Cocks have their best team under the Ole Ball Coach but it won't matter. Saban has Bama playing lights out right now. Mark Ingram will have a huge game.

Prediction: Bama 24 Cocks 10

Florida(-6.5) vs. LSU
Les Miles has to be the luckiest mother fucker since George Bush was in office. Seriously how does this guy pull the complete ineptitude he displays every Saturday "coaching" the sidelines and still come out victorious? It's gotta be because LSU is fucking loaded with talent. But guess what? So is Florida. They have the talent and their coaching is remarkably better than the White Hat. Florida will bounce back in a big way today.

Prediction: Gaytors 28 LSU 14

Miami(-6) vs. FSU
The Convicts vs Semenholes. Classic battle that can make you fall asleep at times. I still don't think these programs are anywhere near the elite programs they were in the 80's and 90's. Jacory Harris should have a good enough game to beat a rather pedestrian FSU defense.

Prediction: Miami 24 FSU 17

USC(+10) vs. Stanford
I never thought I would see the day when the Trojans are 10 point dogs against the Trees. It amazes me how fast and hard the Trojans have burst since the sanctions have come down. Even with USC down I think they play a spirited game with the Fighting Harbaughs. Andrew Luck will absolutely own the Trojans secondary.

Prediction: Stanford 45 USC 42

Michigan vs. Michigan State(+4.5)
Shoelace will have another spectacular day running around the Spartans defense but it won't be enough. Both teams come in undefeated but the Spartans have the better defense in my opinion. They won't contain Robinson but they will stop the rest of the team and the Michigan defense is horrible. Spartans will put a lot of points on the board.

Prediction: Sparty 42 Shoelace 35

UGA vs. Tennessee(+11.5)
How in the holy fuck is UGA nearly 2 TD's favorite against anybody right now? They can't even beat Miss State or Colorado. I know it's in Athens and the Vols are shit too but this game will be close. Take the Vols and the points.

Prediction: UGA 27 Vols 24

Notre Dame(-6.5) vs. Pitt
Pitt brings in their Pop Warner offense into South Bend in what should be a rout. This Pitt team is terrible. In the same way Boston College is fielding their worst team in decades and the Irish cruised despite not playing too well I see an early rout. The Fighting Irish will get the spread attack working a little more smoothly this week.

Prediction: ND 35 Pitt 17

Dawgs Facing (ANOTHER) Must Win and Other Week 6 Picks

Photo Courtesy of UGA Sports Communications

I can tell you if Richt has to give another press conference like the one pictured above after this week, it may be his last one in Athens. Let's be honest, the Dawgs coach is now coaching for his job. While I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I still believe in Richt, I'm not doubting that the BullDawg Nation has had enough of the lack of discipline and the less than glorious perception of the UGA program. Hopefully this week changes some things and a fire is lit under the BullDawgs behinds. If it's not, I think I may have a year of eligibility left and I can guarantee I'm passionate enough to put someone on their backside. On to the picks...

I'm 16 - 6 and I'm okay with that, especially seeing as how 4 of those losses were me picking UGA to win, which of course I'm going to do that again this week. This week will be a test and we will see how Fairchild and I stack up soon. Seems like a huge weekend in college football so this week will be a proving grounds for a lot of teams. There are still a lot of undefeated teams, but will not be after this week. Saturday will be a good day!

South Carolina vs. Alabama
There are several games that are very enticing, but I'm anxious to watch how Alabama plays after beating Florida and how Ellis Johnson plans to game plan around Ingram and Richardson. I think Spurrier and Lattimore may have a thing or two to prove against a stout Bama D. This will be Spurrier's biggest game as the South Carolina Head Ball Coach and he better be ready for a hell of a Cock fight. Bama is scary good. I've said it before and I stand by it. The Tide are going to roll through this season and it's going to be ugly. They will repeat as National Champions and may have a legitimate shot at winning again next year. Saban has done a hell of a job at restoring what was and making Alabama relevant again. While Spurrier and Ellis Johnson may coach a hell of a game, they will still lose.

Tide 28 - Cocks 13

Florida vs. LSU
Sorry GAYtor fans, you may have an advantage in the Swamp, but Les Miles is coaching for his job (although he may not realize that quite yet). LSU is undefeated, UF has lost one game, but the difference will be Les Miles' luck. Meyer hasn't figured out life after Tebow offensively and the GAYtor's mighty D is good, but is too young to keep up with the athletes LSU is going to put on the field. Alabama exposed Florida last week and LSU is coming off of a week where they should learn from their mistakes. This game may be the game of the week. LSU is going to pull out a close one.

Tigers 17 - GAYtors 10

Miami vs. FSU
I can't remember the last time this game was relevant, but this year, it may be a determining factor in the ACC race. GA Tech looks bad, VA Tech looks worse, and Clemson ... who's Clemson, this year at least. The truth is the ACC is awful this year. The ACC is awful every year, but this year is worse than most. This may be the marquee game of the ACC this year. I have faith in FSU and I'm not sure Miami can keep players out of jail long enough to win this game. Christian Ponder is very good and FSU has the talent and coaching around him to win the ACC this year. FSU wins a close one in Miami.

Seminoles 13 - Canes 10

USC vs. Stanford
We are witnessing the fall of Troy and I couldn't be happier, well at least until Ohio State and Penn State simply shuts up. Lame Kiffin is in the process of ruining another program and hopefully he will stay at USC for a few more years so that the Trojan fans come back to Earth and realize they've always been a good team in a bad conference. It's similar to the Buckeyes not losing to another team within the state of Ohio. Stanford has a hell of a QB who should be a top five pick. Watch Stanford continue a hell of a season.

Stanford 23 - Spoiled Children (USC) 14

Michigan vs. Michigan State
Denard Robinson is too much for the Spartans. Let’s face it, he’s the most dynamic athlete on the field in every game he’s played thus far and that’s not going to change against Michigan State no matter how undefeated they are. Robinson is almost guaranteed for 400 yards of offense by himself every game he plays and I don’t see that changing this week. Big Blue is too much for the Spartans to handle and Dantonio has already had one heart attack. Look for this week to be a complete blow out so not much of a stress on the head coach’s emotions.

Michigan 42 - Michigan State 10

UGA vs. Tennessee
This game will be A.J. Green and Aaron Murray vs. the entire Tennessee team. I’m not going to sit here and give any sort of explanation outside of the fact that I can’t pick against my alumni. The dogs win this simply because they have absolutely no other option. If Richt wants his job, the Dawgs better start winning and start winning now.

Tennessee 17 – UGA 27

Notre Dame vs. Pitt

The Irish should beat a not so good Panthers team. I’m hoping the Fighting Irish have found their stride and Brian Kelly’s system starts working this week. Irish win in South Bend.

Notre Dame 24 – Pitt 13

Brett Favre the new Tiger Woods??

If you've been living in a cave the past few days I'd like to inform you that Brett Favre is back in the media spotlight. Can you believe it? This time I don't think he's too happy to have the publicity. I've provided the link above (just click on the title) if you want the full story of the "mini Favre" fiasco. Apparently Favre spent a great deal of time during his Jets tenure trying to get into the pants of buxom, Jenn Sterger. Sterger is that bombshell with the great big old titties from Florida State. She was known as the Florida State Cowgirl. She's hot as hell, and I'd probably send her cock shots of my dong, even though I'm married, but I would never send them if my cock was the size of old number 4. It seems that his number on his jersey matches his member in inches.

Anyway, what I want to know is, is this going to turn into a Tiger Woods type of scandal, where all sorts of ladies across the country claim they slept with Old Man Favre? I think so. I tell you what, if I was married and was a big time athlete, musician, whatever, I think I would get a divorce the first time I chose to be with another woman. Shit, maybe I'd just get a divorce before I played my first game or went on my first big tour. Get it out of the way. If you want to go bang every hot piece of ass you see, do it, just don't get married, or in Brett's case, don't stay married. You know that shit is going to get out to the media, especially if you are portrayed as a Mr. Nice guy who marries his High School sweetie, and sticks with her after all these years. In this digital age nothing is sacred, even gross cock shots sent via cell phone.

This could all be a hoax, but I HIGHLY doubt it. I would like your opinions on the matter. Also, cock jokes are welcome. No cock joke is too small. Ba dum dum.

NLDS PREVIEW AND PREDICTIONS: BRAVES VS GIANTS

This will be the Braves first ever postseason appearance as the Wild Card team. The reason why they got the Wild Card and not the East division title was because they literally stumbled in going 14-16 in both September and October. In fact they didn't clinch the Wild Card till the last day of the season. The Giants on the other hand come in hot. They went 19-10 over the last month and their pitching was incredible. A staff ERA of 1.78 for the month of September. Both of these teams won't score a lot because their lineups are shit in terms of the rest of the playoff teams.

The Braves took the season series 4-3. The only problem is those wins came when the Braves had Martin Prado, Chipper Jones and at the time a torching hot Troy Glaus in the lineup. Now the Braves have none of these guys. They expect and need big contributions from Brian McCann, Derek Lee, and Jason Heyward. If those three bats don't produce in this series then the Braves could easily get swept.

Here is what I think will happen. Derek Lowe gets the start tonight against The Freak Tim Lincecum. The pressure is all on the Giants to win this first game with their ace and two time reigning Cy Young winner on the hill. The Braves can hit Lincecum. I've seen it live and up close at the Ted. Lowe has been incredible for the past 6 weeks and even won NL Pitcher of the Month honors in September. If Lowe wasn't on top of his game the Braves wouldn't have made the playoffs. He makes the big bucks and tonight is a great time for him to step up and continue his incredible streak. The Braves win tonight. I'm going to say 4-3.

With that being said I think this series goes 5 games. They split the first two in San Fran and also split at The Ted. It comes down to the 5th game and whoever has the better pitcher. Will the Giants rush Lincecum to pitch in game 4 or will they save him for game 5? Depends on the situation. The Braves will most certainly pitch Tommy Hanson which both excites me and scares me. Hanson is either really on or really off this season. Plus the Braves never score runs for him. I'm going to say the Giants send Lincecum for game 4 and then bring back Matt Cain in game 5 in San Fran. I hate to go against my home team but the Braves have been shit all year on the road. I hope they can win it for Bobby Cox because my heart wants to believe these guys are playing for him but then my head says the Giants have a better team right now.

Prediction: Giants in 5

DOCTOBER FIRES NO-HITTER

Now that is how you want to pitch in your first postseason game ever. Not only do you go out and prove you are the best pitcher in the game today but you go out and throw a Phuckin' no-hitter. Straight domination all game. Hitting corners and mixing up speeds like Maddux back in his prime. Only the second no-hitter in postseason history and the first since Don Larsen threw a perfecto way back in the 50's. No worries since Roy Halladay already threw a perfect game earlier this season.

Right now I don't see anybody beating the Phillies. Phuck!

ALDS PREVIEW AND PREDICTIONS: YANKEES VS TWINS

The Yankees are back in the playoffs because they have $200 million dollars. The Twins are in the playoffs again because they run a great organization that is reliant on good scouting and developing their talent. The Yankees just buy their way in every year and this year is no different.

Tonight we see a battle of lefties in Yankees ace C.C. Sabathia against comeback kid Francisco Liriano. Whoever wins tonight will win the series. The Yankees are 9-2 against the Twins in the ALDS having won all 3 series against them. This year could be different because the Yankees starting pitching is very suspect after big C.C. A.J. Burnett won't even pitch and Phil Hughes and Andy Pettitte have both struggled since the All-Star break. Unfortunately for the Twins they got Carl Pavano going in game 2 (Yanks fans remember him fondly) and then Brian Duensing going in game 3. So in other words the pitching matchups cancel each other out.

Both teams come in the series struggling of late. The Yankees have more power in their lineup with Mark Teixeira at 1B while the Twins will be without Justin Morneau. This I believe will be the big difference in the series. In a battle of wills the Yankees will get more pop out of their lineup with Alex Rodriguez producing at key times and Robinson Cano delivering as he did all season.

Prediction: Yankees in 5 (fuck em!)

CARLO CALABRESE DOES HIS LATTIMER IMPERSONATION

Notre Dame MLB Carlo Calabrese is a beast. Along with fellow MLB Manti Te'o who currently leads the nation in tackles the Notre Dame defense has two guys who could become the best inside backer group to ever wear the blue and gold.

And oh yeah, the spotting of the ball on this play was complete bullshit. Carlo completely stopped the Stanford fullback in this tracks. There was no forward progress. The stop brought back memories of Steve Lattimer in "The Program" when he rips off the helmet.

GREAT COMMERCIAL

HT: Mike

NLDS PREVIEW AND PREDICTIONS: RED VS PHILLIES

Roy Halladay has a Hall of Fame type resume after 13 seasons but he is still missing one important accomplishment: a postseason appearance. Today El Perfecto Roy will be making his first postseason start in what surely will be his biggest of his career. The Phillies are the two-time reigning National League Champs and are the odd's on favorite in Vegas to win the National League pennant. The Reds on the other hand are making first postseason appearance since 1995. It's been way too long for the storied franchise.

The Reds will start Edinson Volquez today. He went 4-3 with a 4.31 ERA in 12 starts this season after missing all of last season after undergoing Tommy John surgery. Going against Halladay in Philly in the series opener will be a daunting task. The Reds did win 91 games this season but they really struggled the last month of the season. They have a superstar slugger in Joey Votto and an upcoming star in Jay Bruce who will both be looking to make some noise in their playoff debuts. They will not only have to face Halladay in game 1 but then they get proven playoff pitchers Roy Oswalt and Cole Hamels.

The Phillies come in playing outstanding baseball since the All-Star break. They have the best starting trio of pitchers and their hitting has come alive with Chase Utley and Placido Palonco returning from injuries. They won the season series 5-2 over the Reds during the regular season and I expect the same in this series.

Prediction: Phillies in 4

ALDS PREVIEW AND PREDICTIONS: RANGERS VS RAYS

The Texas Rangers will be making their first playoff appearance since 1999. The Rays will be making their first since 2008 when they went to the World Series. On paper this looks like a mismatch. But then again games aren't played on paper. Home field will be huge in this series as the Rangers have a losing record on the road this season and were a combined 0-12 against the three playoff teams (Rays, Yankees, Twins).

In the first game at the Trop we have a battle of lefties in playoff hero Cliff Lee of the Rangers going against young stud David Price. Last year Lee went 4-0 with a 1.56 ERA with the Phillies in his first postseason ever. He struggled mightily in his three starts against the Rays this season going 0-3 with a 4.56 ERA. The Rangers as a team have lost their last 9 LDS games and are the only team in the majors to have never won a playoff series. I expect the Rays to win the first game and continue their momentum throughout the playoffs.

The Rays I believe have the most complete team in the majors. They play great fundamental ball (some would say National League ball) and they have outstanding pitching and their defense is top notch. Evan Longoria and Carl Crawford are two superstars who will shine. Crawford is the best left fielder in the game defensively and will be the top free agent target this offseason. I'm not saying he is going to have a Carlos Beltran type postseason with a contract on the line but I think he will definitely have a memorable postseason before he is wearing the pinstripes next year. If the Rays do have one weakness it is their hitting which can go cold (only team to be either no-hit or 1 hit 5 times this season) but I don't think the Rangers have enough pitching or defense to beat the Rays with 3 of the 5 games in the Trop.

Prediction: Rays in 4.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEK 5 PREDICTIONS

Florida(+9) vs Bama
Did you know the combined record of Urban Meyer and Nick Saban the last 3 seasons when not playing each other is 60-2? Yep, these are by far the two best programs in college football right now. Why this game isn't getting more pub is ridiculous? I know ESPN only likes to talk about the games on their network but just because it's a night game on CBS doesn't mean you give it the due it deserves. This is the SEC game of the year and it should be very entertaining. Both teams have fast, aggressive defenses. Florida looks like they have finally hit their stride on offense last week. This is going to be one of those games that whoever has the ball last will more than likely win or have a chance to win it in the end. I'm going with my gut here.

Prediction – Gators 27 vs Bama 24

Stanford(+6.5) vs Oregon
It sounds like a lot of the pundits out there think Stanford is going to wilt in Eugene because of the Autzen Stadium atmosphere. I'm not one of them. These are the type of games Jim Harbaugh and the Cardinal get up for. Oregon barely beat Arizona State last week despite the Sun Devils having 7 fucking turnovers. Andrew Luck is going to have a career game against the Ducks today. In the Pac 10 game of the year I have to go with my preseason pick of Stanford to win the conference.

Prediction – Stanford 35 vs Oregon 28

Texas vs Oklahoma(-3.5)
So not only do we have the SEC game of the year and the PAC 10 game of the year this weekend but we got the Big 12 game of the year. Both of these programs are struggling on defense. So expect a low scoring game. Sounds dumb right? Anytime you think you know what is going to happen in the Red River Shootout expect the opposite. This is going to be a grind it out game with some fierce hits but I think the Mustache Mafia prevails today.

Prediction – Sooners 21 vs Longhorns 10

Iowa(-7.5) vs Penn State
Like McPeters said the Storm Troopers are starting a freshman quarterback against a good Iowa defense. I don't see this game being close. Ricky Stanzi wins one for America in a blowout.

Prediction – Iowa 40 vs PSU 10

UGA vs Colorado
It's do or die time for the Georgia football program. They come in with a 3 game losing streak and everybody in Dawg Nation calling for Mark Richt and Mike Bobo's head. The good news for the Dawgs is they face an awful, and I mean awful, Colorado team in beautiful Boulder, CO. They get a chance to get away from Athens and focus on winning with AJ Green finally back from a bullshit suspension. Aaron Murray has his coming out party.

Prediction – Georgia 31 vs Colorado 17

THE HOLY WAR-NOTRE DAME(-3.5) VS BACKUP COLLEGE
I'm not going to lie. I've been pretty fucking pissed off the way the Irish have played this season. There was no excuse to lose to Michigan and Michigan State the way they did and last week was down right embarrassing with the blowout on their homefield to Stanford. It's put up or shut up time for the Irish. The offense needs to start clicking and it's time for Dayne Crist to be a leader and put the team on his back. No more excuses about a new offense and new coaches and blah blah bullshit. It's on the players now. They have to execute. This week they get a terrible Boston College team with a freshman QB making his first career start in Chestnut Hill. They should blitz the shit out of them and send 8 guys for his knees 80% of the time tonight. If the Irish want to get back to winning football they are going to have to run the football. There is no passing 40 plus times a game and expecting to win comfortably. ND gets back to fundamental football and ends the loser mentality. Finally.

Prediction - "Fighting" Irish 38 vs BC 17

Thursday, September 30, 2010

Sorry I missed last week but what can you do... McPeter's Week 5 pics

Yes, it's a leprechaun, and yes he's scary. That's what's going to happen to the cheery ole' mascot if ND loses this week...

Okay, this time I missed a whole week. Please forgive. To be honest I had a family emergency, but call it what you will, I missed last week's picks unexpectantly. Looks like a big week this week and my record is still mediocre at 11 - 5 and with last week a wash so I can only hope this week goes well. Looking forward to a good weekend in college football and on to the picks…

Florida vs Bama

The Gaytors found some rhythm last week with Trey Burton in the "Tebow" formation, but Ingram continued his Heisman hopes. Saban vs. Meyer, Saints vs Satans, whatever you want to call it. Meyer and St. Tebow vs Satan and his Hell Hound. Florida's offense better step up because Bama's D is young, fast, and is doing a hell of a job. The Gaytors D has been impressive, but the offense has struggled. Brantley was thought to be the answer to losing the "Holy Heisman" to graduation, but he's been less than impressive. Rainey got arrested for pulling a Mel Gibson and the Gaytor's starting running back, Jeff Demps, has been in a boot for the majority of this week. Despite all the hype, I'm not sure that the Florida D is up to stopping Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson. Although Greg McElroy isn't exactly a prolific QB, he hasn't lost a game as a starter and I'm not expecting him to lose this one. The Tide rolls the Gaytors and keep up their impressive run of not losing a game and staying in the #1 spot yet again. Roll Tide.

Prediction – Tide 24 vs Gaytors 14

Stanford vs Oregon

The Ducks have ugly uniforms and Stanford has Andrew Luck, but that's not enough to stop the prolific Oregon offense from giving Stanford their first loss of the season. Andrew Luck is a legitimate Heisman contender and quite probably the first overall selection in the draft, definitely the first QB taken, he's not luck(y) enough to win this game. While the Duck may not have to do 10 billion push ups this week, he will definitely not be tackling a tree (see the bobcat vs the ... brutus?!?!?). The Ducks improve to 5 - 0 and continue to show they may be a National Title contender.

Prediction – Oregon 42 vs Stanford 17

Texas vs Oklahoma

This year's Red River Rivalry will be another good one. Texas has lost one game and this will be Garret Gilbert's biggest test. Texas lost to UCLA last week and Oklahoma looks to be a legitimate National Title contender. Call me crazy but I think Oklahoma will be playing Bama in the National Championship leaving Oregon on the outside looking in. Oklahoma is going to roll in this game and continue it's run through the Big 12. Texas' D was suspect last week and while I believe in Will Muschamp and hope that if he's not UGA's next coach, he does a hell of a job after Mack Brown leaves Texas, I don't think Texas' D is ready for OU this week. Sorry Horns, but I don't think you'll Hook Em.

Prediction – Texas 10 vs Oklahoma 21

Iowa vs Penn State

Joe Pa is old, Iowa is good. If that's not enough, Penn State is starting a true freshman QB against a stingy defense. Can anyone even tell me what the hell a "Nittany Lion" is?!?! I mean what the hell is a Nittany Lion. Ok, after just a little bit of research, I found a Nittany Lion is a mountain lion that was on Mount Nittany, no really, that's the truth. Iowa sends the Lion back to Nittany and the Hawkeyes make sure the lion stays there for a few more years. Look for the Hawkeyes D to roll and Joe Pa to sleep through another game. I'm not sure he can make more than 4 hours without at least a power nap. Look for the Hawkeyes to make a serious run at the Little 11 Championship.

Prediction – Iowa 17 vs PSU 7

UGA vs Colorado

I'm still picking Georgia. Forget the analysis because it's all screwed. They get Green back, the O-line still has to pick up the slack and UGA's strength in running back has looked like the worst part of the game. Thankfully, UGA shouldn't have to play too much D against a weak Colorado team. UGA needs the win to have some life and to save Richt. Let's just pray the game plan is expanded from Run Middle, Run Right, Screen Right to the fullback, Skinny Post to Durham.

Prediction – Georgia 24 vs Colorado 10

ND vs BC

The Irish may be the only team in the country as desperate for a win as the Dawgs. They'll win this one for Brian Kelly. Look for the Wild Leprechaun package early and often. Tailer Jones scores another TD and ND wins a good game.

Prediction - BC 13 vs ND 20

JIM MORA JR. GOES OFF ON DOUG GOTTLIEB

Former Atlanta Falcons head coach Jim Mora Jr. sounds like a real peach to deal with doesn't he? Doug Gottlieb was filling in for Colin Cowturd today on his radio show and I thought he asked some fair questions for Mora to answer. It's hard to make Gottlieb look like the good guy but Mora did an excellent job of it. I mean seriously, what an asshole. No wonder Michael Vick was lazy in Atlanta. No matter what he did he would always get chastised by Mora.

"Can I fight your dog?"says Vick.

"No, jesus! Have you ever fought a Husky before? What a stupid question! Now go fetch me some pancakes!" replied Mora.

MY HEISMAN BALLOT AFTER 4 WEEKS

1. Denard Robinson (Michigan)-Shoelace is by far the best player I have watched this season. He leads the nation in rushing and his passing is good enough to keep Michigan competing for the Big Ten this season. While it's true he is prone to injury with all the rushing attempts and hits he will take there is little doubt he is the leading candidate at this point. The kid is pure electricity with the ball in his hands.

2. Taylor Martinez (Nebraska)-Just a freshman Martinez has taken Lincoln by storm. Bringing back distant memories of Eric Crouch and Tommy Frazier, T-Magic has rushed for 496 yards while averaging 9.3 ypc to go along with 8 TDs rushing. Nebraska could go to a BCS Championship game with the freshman at QB. Sounds Heisman to me.

3. Kellen Moore (Boise State)-All Moore does is win games. He has had two big, outstanding performances in primetime wins against Virginia Tech and Oregon State. He reminds me a lot of Matt Leinart. Not great size or arm but he has tremendous accuracy and all he does is win. Have I mentioned he wins ball games.

4. Patrick Peterson (LSU)-Peterson is the best defensive player in the country along with being the best return man. He's a lockdown corner and the only defensive player who has a legit shot of getting invited to New York.
HIDE YOUR KIDS, HIDE YOUR WIFE!

5. Andrew Luck (Stanford)-Luck is the best pure pro-style quarterback in the nation. He's on pace to throw for 33 TDs and only 6 INTs and with the way Stanford's defense is playing he could lead them to a PAC-10 Title. If Stanford goes undefeated then Luck wins the Heisman running away. He has a chance to prove to voters his candidacy this week with a tough road game in Eugene in primetime. If he comes out victorious with another great performance he could leap ahead of Shoelace.

Outside looking in: Terrelle Pryor (Ohio State), Cam Newton (Auburn), Mark Ingram (Alabama)

EVERY LITTLE STEP WITH WAYNE BRADY AND MIKE TYSON

Fucking Mike Tyson can dance! He puts Michael Jackson to shame with some of those dance steps. I use to sing this classic Bobby Brown song all the time back in middle school. It was right up there with "Ice Ice Baby" and "Straight Outta Compton" for tunes I could recite while sleeping in class. I gotta give Tyson credit here. He made me laugh out loud with just seeing his head pop up on the screen.

I might as well apologize to all of you for the lack of blogs. I've been in a deep college football depression since the second week for obvious reasons. I think the depression will suppress this week though. Notre Dame plays a bad Boston College team. ND should win. Same with Georgia and Georgia Tech. They got road games with Colorado and Wake Forest. All should be fine Saturday night. My liver and sanity depend on it.

NOTRE DAME AND GEORGIA FOOTBALL HIGHLIGHTS FROM SATURDAY

Both Notre Dame and Georgia sit at 1-3 a third of the way into the season. Yep, it's been one giant jerkoff of a season. Keep it up boys!
